UNESCO Water Challenge
Eco-park Wetland: Wastewater to Resource
The "Eco-Park Wetlands: From Wastewater to Resource" project by STARS WATER – TVU placed Top 3 at the UNESCO Water Challenge for Young Innovators 2025, selected from 85 teams nationwide. The model uses constructed wetlands with native plants and recycled materials to treat domestic wastewater into safe irrigation water, while creating an outdoor STEM education space at Tra Vinh University campus.

Clean Water for Schools & Communities
In partnership with UNIQLO Vietnam (Fast Retailing), we implement the "Clean Water Support" project. Phase 3 (2025): installed 10 rainwater storage and treatment systems for disadvantaged households in Long Hoa commune, Chau Thanh, Tra Vinh, directly benefiting over 80 residents. Phase 4 (2026): installed a 20,000-liter water storage and filtration system plus eco-wetland wastewater treatment at Hoa Minh Primary School, Vinh Long, supporting 540 teachers and students.

UNDP Partnership
Replicating Water Storage in the Mekong Delta
A UNDP (AFCIA)-funded program (2023–2024) implemented with the Vietnamese Association of Community Colleges and Tra Vinh University across Tra Vinh, Ben Tre, and Soc Trang provinces. The project installed 30 rainwater storage bags with automated irrigation for agriculture and 32 storage tanks with multi-tier filtration for domestic use, delivered 20+ training workshops, and directly served 60 households with 300+ beneficiaries.

Community Project
Household Rainwater Storage & Treatment Systems
In partnership with Heineken Vietnam, Central Retail, and Mapme, we implement the "Rainwater Storage and Treatment Systems for Domestic Use" program on Quoi Thien island, Vinh Long province. The system collects rainwater from rooftops, stores it in tanks, and filters/treats it, helping 6 impoverished households access sustainable clean water and improve drought resilience.
